Since its founding, the OCC has worked to preserve and protect Ohio’s Prevailing Wage Law and spread the word about the many benefits of Responsible Contracting. In doing so, it has conducted extensive research to locate third-party case studies, news reports and project documents that support Prevailing Wage and Responsible Contracting.
The OCC also has advocated the use of Project Labor Agreements in public construction; the implementation of proper Training and adequate Drug Testing throughout the construction industry; and sufficient oversight of Code Compliance in all construction projects.
